Who you're dealing with

1% OS is operated by 1 percent os("we", "us", "our"). When you create an account, join the waitlist or buy a membership, you are contracting with 1 percent os, not with any other company. You can reach us by replying to any email we send you.

Accepting these terms

By creating an account, using the service or continuing to use it after a change, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

What 1% OS is

1% OS is a personal operating system: it helps you set goals, builds an AI roadmap, plans your day, and tracks your habits, schedule, nutrition, fitness and progress. Some features use artificial intelligence to suggest roadmaps, daily plans and reviews based on your own data.

The product is currently in development and offered through early access. Features may change before and after launch.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live. If you use 1% OS on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Your account

Keep your password and sign-in details confidential. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account. Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.

Your licence

We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use 1% OS within the plan you've chosen. You may not resell or redistribute the service, reverse engineer it, or try to get around its technical limits, such as daily AI request limits.

Acceptable use

You must not use 1% OS to break the law, to create or share unlawful content, deepfakes, hate speech or malware, to commit fraud or send spam, to infringe anyone's intellectual property, or to interfere with the service's security — including probing, scraping or trying to gain unauthorized access.

You are responsible for the prompts you give the AI, how you use its outputs, checking that what it produces is accurate, and having the rights to any content you put in. You keep the rights to your inputs; you keep the rights to your outputs, subject to these terms.

If a rights-holder reports that content you created with the service infringes their rights, we may remove or restrict that content, and repeated infringement can lead to losing your account.

AI outputs can be wrong. 1% OS is not a substitute for professional medical, dietary, financial or legal advice, and its suggestions should be checked before you rely on them.

Your content

Your goals, plans, logs and notes stay yours. You give us a limited licence to store and process them only so we can run the service for you. We don't use your personal content to train AI models.

Membership, payment and billing

Memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. You can cancel any time; if you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Prices include applicable taxes where required. Detailed payment, billing, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Paddle

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Service availability

We aim for the service to be reliable, but we don't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features.

Suspension and termination

We can suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, don't pay what you owe, create a security or fraud risk, or seriously or repeatedly violate our policies. We'll tell you when we do, unless the law prevents it.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost data or lost goodwill. Our total liability to you is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law doesn't allow that.

You agree to cover us for claims arising from content you provide, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.

When your account ends

If your account ends, you can export your data on request for 30 days. After that, we delete or anonymize your data as described in our Privacy notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the courts of Tel Aviv have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting your mandatory consumer rights where you live.

We may update these terms; we'll notify material changes by email or in the app. We may assign our rights as part of a merger or sale of the business. We may pause our obligations during events beyond our reasonable control.
